正直、すごく緊張しました。普段だったら、スターズって北米のスターたちがオープニング、フィナーレを飾り、グループナンバーをやりますが、それでも、今回、国別対抗戦などもありましたけれども、短い期間で、日本人だけで、グループナンバーだったり、すごく凝ったことをやったと思います。非常に大変でしたけれども、一生懸命できたと。みんなで、また新しい形でスターズオンアイスを作ろうと、頑張れたのではないかなと思います。
“Honestly talking, really tensed. Usually, Stars on Ice, the opening and finale are performed by skaters from the North America, and also they perform the group performance. This time performed by Japanese only, although time was limited, we did very impressive performances. It was hard but we did our best. Altogether, we tried hard to make a new Stars on Ice.
（演技へ込めた思いは）『楽しんでもらいたい』というのが、やっぱり一番です。そもそも、こうやってアイスショーをさせていただくことも特別なことだと思いますし、そして、本当にみなさん、感染のリスクだとか、いろんなことを含めたうえで、ここに来てくださっているんだと思います。本当に苦しい世の中で、いろいろと生きづらい世の中ですけれども、それでも、ここに来てくださったからこそ、特別な演技を、そして、せっかくだったら、やっぱり心から何か燃え上がるような、明日への活力になるような、そんな演技をしたいなというふうに思いました。
(About the solo programme) Whatever, I wanted audience to enjoy my performance. Before it, having this kind of ice shows itself is something special now, I think. And taking care of themselves not to be infected or so, they carefully came here. We are facing very tough time now, so I really wanted to perform something special which people can feel something heated, or power for tomorrow.
（来季に向けては）世界選手権の前にかなり４回転半の練習をして、やっと道筋が見えてきたかなというふうにも思うので、ただがむしゃらにやるだけではなく、基礎練や、本当にアクセルのために何ができるかということを、またイチから考え直して、イチからまたアクセルをつくりなおして、４回転半を、ちゃんと、羽生結弦のジャンプだって思ってもらえるようなジャンプにして。来シーズンに向けて頑張っていきたいなというふうに思います。
(For the next season) I practiced my 4A especially the period before Worlds, and now I feel I can see the way for the success. Not only working hard but considering about the basic matters or what else I can do for my Axel, I’d like to re-create my Axel from the first, and would like to make my Axel good enough people can accept as “Yuzuru Hanyu’s Axel”, for it, I’d like to make my best toward the coming season.
（特別なシーズンになりそうですが？）そうですね、いっぱい考えることもありますし、何より自分が、試合だとかアイスショーだとか、そういうところで滑り、考えながら、一生懸命やっていきたいと思います。
(It’ll be another special season) Yes, lot to think about and I’d like to work hard consider more while participating competitions and ice shows.
