一昨日、オリンピック・チャンネル（インタビューアー：メリル・ディヴィス）がネーサンの記事を取り上げていて、今回のワールド、淡々と結果を綴っている感じかな、妙な煽りは感じられず。でね、ブログで話題にしようかどうしようかって気持ちがあったんだけど、今日、THE ANSWERが、その記事の一部、ネーサンが結弦君に対して思っていることを語っている部分を紹介していて、その記事の紹介がてら、ネーサンの言葉をサラ的日本にしてみた。
（ま、彼が言っている意味は、THE ANSWERと同じだけどね😁）
で、THE ANSWERでは取り上げていなかった（結弦君にも、カナダに戻ったらちょっと関連しそうな）最近のアメリカの社会傾向についてのネーサンの言葉も紹介したくて。
The day before, Olympic Channel released an article of their interview to Nathan Chen. (Interviewer: Meryl Davis).
Today, actually for English speakers, you don’t need to go through this page but you can just jump to Olympic Channel though, here, Sarah wants to introduce what Nathan talked about Yuzu, and also would like to introduce that part where Nathan was talking about violence against Asian community to Japanese readers.
ワールドのことや、ネーサンの紹介、諸々、記者（あいつじゃないっす！Nick McCarvelさん）の言葉は、省略させてね。今日は、ネーサンの言葉だけを日本語に。
Chen on Hanyu: 'I still get pretty starstuck'
チェン、羽生選手は「ボクのヒーローだね、今も。」
“He's won two Olympics,”
“You know, I think that's the bottom line. And I have won zero. So that kind of puts him in a completely different airspace than I'm in.”
「羽生選手は、オリンピックで二勝している。」
「これが、僕らを定義づける基準だと思っているんだ。僕は、オリンピック・メダル、ゼロ！要するに、彼の存在は、僕とは全く別次元ってこと。」
“In the brief moments that we do communicate, he's a very genuine person, very nice person,”
「短時間だけど、言葉を交わすと、羽生選手はめっちゃ純粋で、最高にいいヤツっなんだよ。」
“And I really enjoy being able to talk to him. He’s someone that I've grown up watching and [am] just inspired by from 2014 to 2018 to [today]. He's just been around a long time and has been consistently successful in producing for a very long time; that's really, really challenging and impressive.”
「で、羽生選手と言葉を交わせること、本当にうれしいね。羽生は、僕、幼いころからあこがれていたし、2014年、2019年のオリンピックから今でも、彼に刺激を受け続けている。羽生選手は、本当に長年にわたり、確実に、着々と、本当に長い間、進化の成功をおさめ続けている、本当にすごいんだよ、本当に、チャレンジングで、感動だよ。」
"And he's one of those athletes where when you see him, you're like a little starstruck. Even now, like when I see him, I still get pretty starstruck by seeing him.”
「なんたって、彼を一目見たら、誰もが夢中になっちゃう、彼はそういうアスリートさ。僕だって、今もだぜ、羽生に会うと、もう有頂天になっちまう。」
“I was always worried, like growing up as a kid, that having competitors would mean that there'd be like unnecessary drama and a lot of tension, And I've honestly never felt that within my time competing against him or the [other] top guys. It's always been very amicable. Everyone's been very respectful of the amount of work that everyone else is putting it. That's pretty awesome to have.”
「ちっちゃいころ、誰かと競い合うって、無用なドラマを描いたり、緊張するって心配していたけど、実際、羽生選手と戦っていてそんなこと感じたことなかったし、それは他のトップスケーターたちとも。いつも、そこにあるのは友好的な雰囲気。それぞれが精いっぱい演じる演技に対して、誰もがお互いリスペクトしあっているんだ。本当に素晴らしいことだよ。」
（ネーサンの言葉から、サラが思うことっていくつかあるけど、でも、ここは、サラの主観は入れずにおくね。）
で、ネーサン、一言だけど、最近のアメリカでのアジア系に対する偏見や暴力についても語っていたので、その部分を入れるね。
And just a phrase though, Nathan expressed his feeling about the current violence targeting at Asian Americans in US.
“I'm disgusted by the amount of hate and violence that has occurred [against] Asian Americans in the U.S., it's just unacceptable, It's really disheartening to see that. But hopefully the more that this is brought to people's eyes and the more repercussions are being placed upon people that do these things, hopefully [that] will put an end to this soon. But I mean, my heart goes out to all the other victims that have been unjustly attacked. It's really tough to see as an Asian-American.”
「アメリカで起こっているアジア系アメリカ人に対する、ヘイトや暴力に腹が立つし、絶対に受け入れられない。そんなニュースを見ると落ち込むよ。ただ、そうした事実が多くの人に知らされることで、そういう行動をする人への反響が取り上げられ、本当に、願わくば、こうしたことに終止符を打ってほしい。不当に襲撃された被害者に心が痛む。1人のアジア系アメリカ人として、本当に辛いことだよ。」

アメリカほどではなくても、カナダでもアジア系住民に対する嫌がらせや攻撃が報告されているし、トロントは大きなアジア・コミュニティーがあるから、コロナ感染だけでなく、そうした偏見も、早く消え去ってほしいところ！
コロナが収まっった時、別な危険があって、結弦君、カナダに行かないで！ってことにはなってほしくないものね。
The situation is a bit better maybe, but however in Canada too, there are such unjust hate and violence in Canada too. Toronto has a big Asian community, oh, really hope not only COVID but together with COVID, soon! right now! immediately! all these will end up!!!
今日は、結弦君に直という話題ではないけど、ちょっと、ネーサンのこと、最近、本当に憎々しく思うようになっているので、もう一度冷静に、「敵」はネーサンじゃなくって悪徳代官、あ、いえ、えっとジャッジ！だってこと確認もしたくなったので。
ってかね、本当に、年々、他の選手へ拍手する気もなくなってきちゃうのって、結局はその選手がど～のってんじゃなくって、その選手に対するジャッジの不当な評価が原因なんだよね。選手たちは、誰もがただただ努力して、お互い、どれほど努力しているかわかるから、リスペクトしあって。
でもさ、こんな状態が続いちゃうと、選手たちの美しい関係にもひずみが出てきそうで、怖いよ。だからさ、ジャッジィィィ！わかってるんでしょ！いい加減に、本当の「ジャッジ」になってよ！
（ってか、ジャッジ以前に、ISUの営利主義、なんとかしてよ！だけどね。）
Today’s topic is not directly about Yuzu though, however, through Nathan’s comments, Sarah wanted to reset her mind. You know, knowing that nothing is wrong with Nathan, with any other skaters, but Sarah now hates some of skaters. But actually, this feeling should be just put on unfair judges, not on skaters.
Well, now, as Nathan was telling skaters have amicable relations, but, with such unacceptable and unfair judges, in the future, will their relations change? oh, it’s so scared!
Really, hope unfair judges will end up.
