長雨のころには、早く夏になってって思っていたけど、ああ！
あ“ぢぃぃぃ！ってことで、涼し気に泳ぐ、カルガモさん！
During the rainy days, everyday wished it’d be Summer soon, but now,
burning hot! so to get cool feelings, let’s see Spot-billed Duck swimming!
というより、実は、暑いし、夏休みで、人出がおおいし・・で、
最近、全然お写真撮っていないっす・・・💦
Well, honestly talking, it’s so hot and also now many people are taking Summer holidays, so there are crowds in many places around here, so, didn’t go out to take photos nowadays.
近くの温水池・・「中郷温水池」で、ウィッキペディアにあって、あれ？「温水池」って三島独特の池なんだってびっくりしたことあったけど。
Nakazato Water Reservoir, which is a pond to warm up water, since water here is springing ground water coming from Mt. Fuji, it’s all year round 15 to 16 degree C.
おかげさまで、源兵衛川が裏に、農業用の水路が向いにあって、町内、実は、町中よりちょっぴり涼しいのよ。（とはいえ、この暑さでは大して変わらないけど）源兵衛川のお水、真夏でも川歩きをちょっとすると、おつむキンキンになってくるほど冷たいよ。
It’s too cold for agriculture, so keeping water here to warm up.
Thanks Mt. Fuji, of course it’s hot now here too though, actually, the air temperature in places along Genbei River is a bit cooler that its in the mid-city.
