南太平洋のどんより雲
Thick clouds in the South Pacific Ocean.
ううふ！サラ、ちゃっかり現地のお衣装！
（真ん中です！一応、念のためきっちり言います、左のおっさんじゃないっす！！😋）
ちなみに、男性はフィジー系、右の女性はインド系で、
サラは彼女とはヒンディ英語で会話してた！
Sarah in a local costume! (oh, Sarah is not the one in the left, but in the centre!!) Well, as you may guess, the lady in the right is Indian Fiji, so Sarah had a chance to practice Hindi talking with her (*^-^*) lucky!
今日は、昨日よりずっと、ず～と遠い南の島、フィジーの主とスバがあるビティレブ島。
Today’s photos are taken in Suva Fuji, in the South Pacific Ocean.
やっぱりお仕事だったので、観光はしていないんだけど、ちょっとでも時間があると、やっぱりスーパー覗きたくなるのよね。
It was also a duty trip, so no time for sightseeing though, enjoyed looking around supermarkets when Sarah got time!

島の公共交通機関はバス。鉄道は、サトウキビ運搬用の貨物だけ。
Although there’s a railway but only for transport sugarcanes, not for passengers.

カヴァです。テーブル上のすり鉢状の器で、木の根をつぶしてお水を入れて「カヴァ」という飲み物を作るの。南太平洋州の伝統的な飲み物。これね、サラ、ず～っと前に、船で太平洋横断していた時に飲んだ！そして、いきなり爆睡した！
They are enjoying drinking “Kava”. Sarah once tried “Kava” when she was travelling across the Pacific Ocean, well, soon after it, Sarah ended up crashing asleep!!
