そっかぁ～！今日は虫さんの日。
Now, small Japanese listen! Today is 4 Jun. and June is the 6th month of the year, “6” in Japanese “Roku” or “Mu” and 4th day, “4” we call “Yon” or “Shi”, and insects are “Mushi” in Japanese, see, 6=Mu and 4=Shi, so it says today is the day for insect. (nonsense？)
ハチさん、フタモンさんどころか、最近アシナガバチさんに出会ってないなぁ・・・
For a while, didn’t see any Wasps, especially, Japanese Paper Wasps. . .
テントウムシさん。小さいころ、テントウムシさんは、いい子と悪い子がいるってよく言わなかった？なんかさ、益虫とか害虫って呼ぶけど、（確かに農家の方は死活問題にもなるしね）なんかね、虫さん、ただ命のを全うしているだけなんだよね。一生懸命生きて「害虫」なんて呼ばれちゃうのはかわいそうかな・・ってよく思うんだわ。
A Ladybird, well, when Sarah was little, we often said some Ladybirds are good one and others are bad. Of course, for farmers it’s a very serious matter though, but insects are all just try to live their lives, nothing else.
めっちゃんこ、ど派手なこのお花は、トウワタ。綿毛のついた種ができるんだよ。
なんかバトミントンのシャトルみたいでかわいいでしょ？
The vivid coloured flowers are Scarlet Milkweed (Asclepias curassavica), just like a shuttlecocks for Badminton, looks cute, don’t they?
でさ、種が風船のようなさやに納まるのが、このフウセントウワタ。白くて、ちょっとエレガントでしょ？ふふ、なんと英語の名前がスワン・プラント！
And this one flower is the family member of Scarlet Milkweed but this one is a Swan Plant (Asclepias physosarpa).
