アラジンはマグリブの魔法使いに騙されて洞穴で魔法のランプを手に入れるじゃない。
この「マグリブ」本によっては「西の国」になっているけど、実は意味はおんなじ。
だってね、マグリブってアラビア語で「西」。
Aladdin was cheated by a sorcerer to get a “wonderful lump” in a cave, this sorcerer was from “Maghrib”.
でさ、実はサラは、そしてほとんどのアラビア語話者は西アフリカの「モロッコ」のことを「マグリブ」って呼ぶんだよ。アラブ圏で一番西に位置する国だから。
Not only Sarah but most of Arab people call Morocco as “Maghrib” since Morocco is the West-end land of Arab society.
そうそう、お仕事仲間でモロッコ人がいるんだけど、サラ、何度も聞いたよ
「ね、本当は、魔法使いじゃない？」ある日、彼が言いました～！

So, Sarah many times asked her Moroccan friend “aren’t you a sorcerer?” then he denied many times but finally he confessed (?) “No way, but I’m Jinny!”
