トルコ その2です！UNESCO世界遺産のアルテミス神殿があるエフェス
The second part of Turkey photos, starts with photos of Ephesus, a ruin city established in the 10th BCE
ギリシャ・ヘレニズム遺跡で、アルテミス神殿の遺跡が有名だけど
Probably, the most famous building in Ephesus must be The Temple of Artemis, however. . .
時代が過ぎて、ローマの支配を受けて、そしてイエス・キリストの母マリアが余生を送った地としても知られていている地域。
Later, it became a subject of the Roman Republic, then much later, they say that Mary, mother of Jesus lived here.
サンタクロースと言えば北欧って思うけど、サンタクロースのモデルと言われる聖ニコラス、トルコのミュラと言う地域にある聖ニコラス教会は、どうやら聖ニコラスの遺骸はこの教会の地下に眠っているらしい・・
When we hear the name “Santa Claus” we think about a snowy place in Scandinavia, but the recent study tells that the model of Santa Claus, Sain Nicholas’s body is sleeping underground of St. Nicholas Church in Myra, Turkey.

Not a necropolis but many people lived and still live in rock mountains in Cappadocia, where also known its strangely shaped rocks
でね・・あるのにない国！（は？）北キプロス。トルコ以外の世界中の国、どこからも認められていない国。
And. . . there is but only Turkey but no other countries recognise as a “country” though, a few photos of North Cyprus.
トルコ・・３月末から急にコロナウィルスの感染状況が深刻になって・・で、突然、トルコの思い出を引っ張り出してきちゃった。
