でもね、この間紹介した時は５羽で、それでも、少な！って心配していたけど、なんと、最近２羽しかいない💦

The last time when Sarah posted their photos, there were 5 babies, even 5, wondered, since they usual have more than 10 babies at once, but, now, she got only two. . . 💦

ってかさ、カルガモちゃんってたくましいのよ！ほら、ツバメさんたち最近飛び回っているし、そうだ！この間はムクドリの雛にもあったじゃない。赤ちゃん、普通は、ママが（パパも一緒の鳥さんもいるし）せっせとご飯を運んでくれるでしょ？

Babies of Spot-billed Ducks are quite strong and brave!! You know, nowadays, there are many swallows, and now sparrows are taking care of their babies too, and oh, Sarah met a baby Starling. In this season many parent-birds are busy bringing food to their babies though,

カルガモさんは、ママは頼りになるセキュリティガード（？）だけど、でも、この子たち、生まれてすぐに自分たちでご飯を探すんだよ。だからね、カルガモの赤ちゃんはよく人目に付くところにいるわけ、せっせとご飯探し！

But this mother is taking care of babies very carefully as a security guard, but the babies have to find their food soon after they were born. This is why these babies are seen easily.
