ところで・・・突然だけど、ヤモリちゃん！

ってかね、サラ、実は初めてヤモリを見たのは、インドだったのよ！もうさ、初めてで、壁にへばりついているヤモリをみつけて、きゃっ！かわいい！って、壁にへばりついて眺めていたのよ。
You know, when Sarah was young, she had no chance to see them, and it was in India when Sarah met Geckos for her first time. So excited! yeah, looked so cute, and observed very carefully.
で、話しはすっ飛ぶけど、パキスタンに赴任していたころも、ヤモリちゃんたち家族のようにおうちにいたのね。でね・・そうだ！一度、突然停電したの。ま、計画転電とかしょっちゅうだったから、使用人呼んで発電機つけてもらおうと思ったら・・あ、使用人の住居は電気ついてるじゃん。え？近所も。サラんとこだけ？で、調べてもらったら、なんと！なんと！なんと！残酷な！ヤモリちゃんがブレーカーの中で焼け焦げていた！
Well, then when Sarah was working in Pakistan, Geckos were just like her family, so many of them were at home. Oh, still clearly remember that one night, lights went out, wanted her servant to start the generator but the servant quarter’s lights were on! However, we found a tragedy! there was a burnt Gecko in the breaker packing box!
でね、パキスタンで、サラ、パキスタンっぽい家具をあれこれオーダーして作ってもらったので、コンテナーで日本に持ち帰って来たんだけど、な～ぜか、そのころから、突然、ヤモリちゃんたちが出現するようになったの！うちのヤモリちゃんたち、パキスタンで一緒に住んでいた子たちにそっくりなんだよね・・・・
When Sarah came back, she brought order-made furniture from Pakistan to Japan by ship. Well, after that, suddenly we have Geckos at home here . . .
と、突然、ヤモリちゃんの話題になったけど・・・またまた、突然！？
