昨日、ぽろり漏らしたキンクロさん情報！
ほら、数日前に1羽、ちゃっかりお写真に入っていたでしょ
まだ、ちょっと早いし、ひょっとして夏をここで過ごしちゃったの・・なんて思っちゃったけど、どうやらあの子は本当に一番乗りだったみたい！
a few days ago, a Tufted Duck (Aythya fuligula) was in photos, since it’s a bit too early to see Winter birds here so Sarah thought he spent the Summer here, but actually, he must be the first arrival!
そう、12羽、ちゃっかり渡ってきた！
ちょっと早い気がするし、いつもは一番乗りはオオバンさんなんだけどね・・・
翼を広げているのがキンクロハジロ君、その右に2羽、そして左に1羽、
グレーのお背中が見えるでしょ、ホシハジロさんたち

a bit early, and usually the first arrivals are Black Coots (Fulica atra)
a Tufted Duck opening his wings, and two in his right and one in the left, with grey backs, are Pochards (Aythya farina)
でも、まだ到着したばかりのようで、かなり警戒されちゃっていて
なかなか岸に近づいてくれない！
since they just arrived so they are a bit nervous, they don’t come close to the bank, stay in the centre of the pond, quite far away. . .
ってかね、時間がなくって、もうじき日が暮れる時間に大慌てで駆けつけて
撮ったので・・・金色のおメメがよく見えない・・
hard to manage time, so just rushed there in the very late afternoon,, so, their golden eyes cannot be visible, sorry!

薄暗くてもよく見える真っ白なサギさんたち
Egrets’ white body is quite visible even in the early evening
黒いくちばし、ちょっとちびちゃんのコサギさんたち
