東京2020のメダルにも結弦君がいるってことらしいしね！

「自分の思いを自由に込めた」というデザインは、メダル全面が輝くわけではない。そこに自らの人生観を詰めこんだ。「つらいことや影があるからこそ、光の輝きは増す。けがを乗り越えて五輪連覇を果たした羽生結弦（ゆづる）選手（フィギュアスケート）のように」(メダルをデザインした川西さんの言葉)

“my wishes are in my design” the medals for Tokyo 2020 has shining and shadow parts, to express the designer’s “wishes”. “our life shine when we overcome “shadow” days with hardness and difficulties, just like Yuzuru Hanyu who won the second Olympic medal overcoming his injury.” (commented by Mr. Kawanishi, the medal designer)
