暑気払いに、山のアジサイ
to present cooler mood, enjoy the colours of Hydrangeas
でも、先日の山のアジサイよりの所より
彫刻の森はちょっとだけ低いからだね
もうアジサイはほとんど終わっていた
last week, also posted photos of Hydrangeas in Hakone
still some could be seen in the Open-Air Museum but
this place is lower than the place of last week’s Hydrangeas
so, mostly flowers are withered here
タマアジサイが一輪だけ、ほころんでいた
and just one though, Bracted Hydrangea is flowering
Bracted Hydrangea’s flower season is a bit later than others

まん丸の玉々からアジサイのお花がぽこって飛び出すのって
なんか、不思議じゃない？
from such a ball-shaped bud, many of small flowers are coming
isn’t it a mystery?

cute fruit of Japanese Snowbell

こっちもエゴノキの実、だけど、こっちの子たちは
エゴノネコアシアブラムシに占領されて
「虫こぶ」になっちゃった
they are the same fruit but galls
since in them aphids, “Ceratovacuna nekoashi” are living
