now we have a new emperor and the era is Reiwa,
but the garden here can date back to “Taisho”

箱根の強羅公園、開演は1914年とのこと
Hakone Gora Park was established in 1914
そして、日本初のフランス式庭園だとか
and there garden is the first French style garden in Japan
カルミア、白いお花の方は、もう彼欠けていた
Kalmia, they also have white ones but too late. . .
名前の分からないお花ばかりだけど・・・
そして、最近怠け者で、調べる気力が欠けている？？

バラのアーチの向こうに見えるのは公園開園の頃からここに住んでいる
ヒマラヤスギ・・松ぼっくりがバラの花みたいでかわいいんだけど
きれいにお掃除されていて・・
a told tree behind the rose arch is Deodar Cedar (Himalayan Cedar)
which has cute rose-shape cone though, couldn’t find any
