花冷え？またコートを引っ張り出しちゃって
そして・・あっという間に今年のサクラも終わっちゃう・・
for a couple days, it has been chilly, and
Sakura season is ending . . .
もう、花吹雪舞って・・葉桜になり始めてるんだろうな
this place too, pink colour must be turning to green now
沼津の「白隠桜」品種はソメイヨシノだけど
ここではこの地域で慕われた白隠禅師の名前をとってそう呼んでいる
Someiyoshino trees in Numazu
there’s a Buddhist temple related to a famous monk,
“Hakuin Ekaku”, in this area, so they call there Sakura as “Hakuin Sakura”
で、ここのサクラ、どうして出かけたかと言うと・・この景色！
what is special of these Sakura is;
なんと国道1号線沿いに約5 kmの桜並木！
数えていないけど、沼津市観光局の話では 600本のソメイヨシノ
for about 5 km from Numazu to Fuji City, about 600 Sakura trees are growing!
用水路にには・・カメさんがいた！ oh, met a turtle in the canal
途中に仏像も・・ and on the street, there’s a Buddha statue too
ハナニラ Spring Stars
落花盛ん・・・ the falling petals whirl in the wind
