皆さん、おはよう

今ニュージーランドは夏です

そして

今日バカンス中の両親から数枚の写真いただいた。

皆さんに是非見せたいなとおもいまして(笑)

Kia ora everyone

It's summer in New Zealand now and my parents are on vacation.
They sent me a few photos, two of which I'd like to share

海なのですね。ここはニュージーランド北島、西側のビーチ➡ピーハっというビーチ

ピーハは小さい時親がよくか夏休みの時日帰りトリップをつれってくれた。

So this is the beach, and an ocean. This beach is located on the west coast of the North Island. The beach is called Piha. Its really special to me

From the time I was small my parents would take me and my brother and sister there over summer.
During high school my friends parents had a holiday home, in New Zealand English we call in a bach (バッチ) or in the South Island its called a crib (クリブ). I would stay there weekends at a time and go surfing

高校生時代は海の近くの別荘を持ってた友達とよくサーフィン行きました

その一枚の写真だけ見て心が動く(笑)

行きたくなります(笑)

砂は真っ黒

ニュージーランドの西側の砂浜が黒

東側の砂浜が真っ白(笑)

面白いでしょ

So if you look at the photo closely you'll notice the sand is black. All west coast beaches have black sand, and east coast beaches have white sand

Its pretty cool and interesting

Taken at Bethells Beach, also on the west coast with black sand. Love seeing the people enjoying the ocean

埼玉住まいの私はやはり海がたまに恋しくなるの

こちら、お友だちの誘いいただいて、子供たちと千葉の御宿へ

Its true..as a resident of Saitama I totally miss the sea/beaches/the ocean

I couple of years back a friend invited me and my kids to Onjuku in Chiba and it was so beautiful, but quite far away
