ここ最近、心身共に多忙で疲れているのか、新しいものにあまり触手が伸びず、昔から好きなものを聴いております。
車で聴いているのは、昨年ライブに参戦できず悔しい思いをしたスティングのアルバム『My Songs』、聴くと残念な気持ちが甦ったりしたので一時は遠ざかっていたのですが、最近やっぱり「好きだなぁ」「落ち着くなぁ」と感じて、また聴けるようになりました。
生きているうちに一度でいいから、中学時代からファンのスティングに会いに行けたらなぁ……。
なんて思っておりますよ。
今日の曲は、スティングがソロになる前のバンドThe Policeの『Message In A Bottle』です。
スティングを知ってから遡ってポリスを聴き始めた訳なのですが、やはり初期の曲の方が好きで、この曲が収録されている2枚目のアルバム『Reggatta de Blanc（白いレガッタ）』もかなり聴いていました。
なんでしょう、バンド結成の勢いのようなものがやはり好きなのか、バンドの初期のアルバムが好きなのですよねぇ… 荒削りな雰囲気や勢いが感じられるのが好きです。

この曲はずーっと和訳したいと思っていた曲であると同時に、ここ数ヶ月「ポリス好きな人ならこれ同じ気持ちよね？」と確認したい気持ち頻り。
「あつまれ どうぶつの森」で、これ↓を最初見た時、絶対頭にこの曲流れましたよね？（笑）
最近はもう既に（やりこんでもいないのに）飽き始めてしまってログインもたま〜〜〜にしかしてないのですが（月一くらい）、海で泳いだり家の傍の花を取り除いたり（笑）している時もあります。
2学期も始まったので、子供達も毎日はしていないですが、時々整備して素敵な島にしているみたいです。
最初にミュージックビデオを、最後には1980年のドイツ・ハンブルグでのライブを載せますね。
