久しぶりになってしまいました。
色々とバタバタとしておりました。
今日のこの『All I Want Is You』ですが、1988年リリースのアルバム及びドキュメンタリー映画である『Rattle and Hum（邦題：魂の叫び）』にて発表された曲で、翌年シングルカットされました。
ボノが妻のアリソンに宛てた曲だとのこと。
つい最近なのですが、恋人に宛てるのとは違いますが、「望むのはあなただけ」というタイトルに揺さぶられる出来事があり、途中放置していたのを引っ張り出して訳を仕上げてみました。
何というか…… 子を失った親の気持ちもそうですし、人間の普遍の愛みたいなものを感じる言葉だな… と思います。
2021年3月13日、MVがリマスターされてU2公式よりアップされました！まるでモノクロ映画のワンシーンのような映像でとても素敵なMVです。…そして切ない。
