ワクワクを飾ろう！マイ教室デコレーション奮闘記 ✂️🎨
みなさん、こんにちは！
最近、私が夢中になっていることの一つが、教室のデコレーションなんです！季節ごとや、ハロウィーンやクリスマスといったイベント、そしてもちろん、生徒さんたちのお誕生日に合わせて飾り付けをするのが大好きで！🎉 なんだか「ウキウキする空間 (jazzing things up!)」を作っているみたいで楽しいんです。
このデコレーション熱、きっかけは海外の素敵なYouTuberさんたち。彼女たちのアイデアがあまりにもクールで刺激的だったので、「私もやってみたい！(I wanna try that!)」って、すっかり虜になっちゃったんです。
ただ一つ、ちょっと大変なのが（英語で言うと "the catch" 😉 って感じでしょうか）、アメリカやカナダの動画で見るような可愛いデコレーションアイテムが、日本ではなかなか手に入らないこと。まさに宝探し状態です！そんな中、私の強い味方 (my go-to spots) は、やっぱりコストコとフライングタイガー。思わぬ掘り出し物 (hidden gems) に出会えることも！
最近だと、バレンタインとイースターの飾り付けをしました。
バレンタインは、鮮やかな赤やピンクのカラーが、子どもたちのテンションをぐっと上げてくれるんです。❤️ 「わぁ、きれい！」って喜ぶ顔を見るのが、本当に嬉しい瞬間！毎年恒例のチョコレートも、今年は「もしかして、もう飽きちゃったかな？(Are they over chocolate?)」なんて少し心配したんですが、全然そんなことなくて！みんな大喜びだったので、来年もチョコレート作戦は継続決定です。よかったー！ (Phew!)
イースターは、優しいパステルカラーがとっても素敵ですよね。あの淡い色合いは、特に小さなお子さんたちのクラスを飾るのにぴったりなんです。そして、イースターのお楽しみといえば、やっぱりイースターエッグハント！🥚 みんな真剣な顔で、「あった！(Look! I found one!)」なんて言いながら卵を探す姿は、もう、たまらなく可愛いです。
そうそう、インスピレーションといえば、ここ数年ずっと参考にさせてもらっている、海外の素晴らしいYouTuberさんたちがいるんです。もしデコレーションのアイデアを探しているなら、彼女たちは本当にオススメですよ！

My Classroom Decor Adventures! ✂️🎨
Hi everyone!
Lately, one of my absolute favorite things to do is decorating our classroom! I just love jazzing things up for different seasons, holidays like Halloween or Christmas, and of course, for kids' birthdays! 🎉
What got me started? Well, I got totally hooked watching some amazing international YouTubers. Their ideas were so cool and inspiring, I just had to try them myself! "I wanna try that!" was my first thought!
The only tricky part (or, as we say, "the catch" 😉) is that many of the awesome decorations they use in places like America or Canada aren't easily available here in Japan. It can be a real treasure hunt! My go-to spots are definitely Costco and Flying Tiger – they often have some hidden gems!
Most recently, I've decorated for Valentine's Day and Easter.
For Valentine's, the vibrant colors – all those reds and pinks – really get the kids excited. ❤️ It’s so much fun to see their happy faces! I also like to prepare special chocolates each year. This year, I wondered if they might be a bit tired of chocolate ("Are they over chocolate?"), but it turns out they still love it! So, it's definitely back to chocolate for next year. Phew!
Easter, with its beautiful pastel color palette, is another favorite. It's so gentle and pretty, perfect for decorating the classrooms, especially for our younger students. The highlight of our Easter celebration is always the Easter egg hunt! 🥚 They get so serious and excited about finding those eggs, it's just the cutest thing to watch them. "Look! I found one!" they shout, and it’s adorable.
Speaking of inspiration, let me share a couple of the amazing overseas YouTubers I've been following for a few years now. If you're looking for ideas, these ladies are fantastic!
- Angie from Canada: She's a massive Disney fan and her channel is a goldmine of creative decoration ideas. Seriously, so many "Wow!" moments.
- Lauren from Napa Valley, California: She's a true supermom – working at a winery while raising four children! Watching her channel always motivates me and makes me feel like I can achieve more too. And her Christmas decorations? They are absolutely breathtaking, truly on another level! ✨ You'll be speechless!
