Finally the Supreme Court ruled that states cannot keep same-sex couples from getting married in all 50 states, and we are seeing progress towards true equality amongst men and women.
Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan has passed a partnership ordinance in the recent months, and I would like to think that Japan is stepping in the right direction as well. Unfortunately, the partnership ordinance is only adopted in Shibuya-ku and nowhere else, but here's to hoping that rest of Japan will follow and eventually adopt same-sex marriage.

同性結婚がアメリカの最高裁判所で憲法上の権利と認められ、全50州で同性結婚が合法化されました。
人類としてすべての人の平等化に一歩近づけましたね！
そう言えば数ヶ月前には渋谷区で結婚相当の「パートナーシップ証明書」を同棲カップルに発行するというパートナーシップ条例が発表されましたね。
まだ法律上での力はあまりないのでこれからの日本の動き次第で変わって欲しいな。
