Regulation 4 - Functional requirements 第4規則 船舶の機能要件
1. Every ship, while at sea, shall be capable:
船舶は、海上にある間、次の能力を有するものとする。
.1. except as provided in regulations 8.1.1 and 10.1.4.3, of transmitting ship-to-shore distress alerts by at least two separate and independent means, each using a different radiocommunication service;
第4章第8規則(無線設備(A1海域))1.1及び第10規則(無線設備(A1海域、A2海域及びA3海域)) 1.4.3に定める場合を除くほか、異なる無線通信業務を使用する少なくとも二の分離し、かつ、独立した設備により、船舶から陸上への遭難警報を送信すること。
.2. of receiving shore-to-ship distress alerts;
陸上から船舶への遭難警報を受信すること
.3. of transmitting and receiving ship-to-ship distress alerts;
船舶間の遭難警報を送信し受信すること
.4. of transmitting and receiving search and rescue co-ordinating communications;
捜索および救助のための調整に関する通信を送信し受信すること
.5. of transmitting and receiving on-scene communications;
現場の通信を送信し受信すること
.6. of transmitting and, as required by regulation V/19.2.3.2, receiving signals for locating;
位置の探知のための信号を送信し及び第5章(航行の安全)第19規則(航海装置及び航海機器の搭載要件)2.3.2の規定に従ってその信号を受信すること。
.7. of transmitting and receiving see footnote maritime safety information;
海上安全情報を送信し受信すること
.8. of transmitting and receiving general radiocommunications to and from shore-based radio systems or networks subject to regulation 15.8;
and
第4章第15規則(保守要件)8の規定に従うことを条件として、陸上の無線体制又は無線通信網への一般無線通信を 送信し及び当該無線体制又は無線通信網から一般無線通信を受信すること

.9. of transmitting and receiving bridge-to-bridge communications.
