GOES衛星の観測によると静止軌道における2MeV以上の電子の24時間フルエンスが、2月23日19時UTに3.8ｘ10^8[個/cm^2/sr]を超えて高いレベルに達した。

やはり太陽は病気である。
As expected, a coronal mass ejection (CME) hit Earth's magnetic field during the early hours of Feb. 24th (~0430 UT). It was a weak impact. The CME was not heading directly for Earth, and it delivered only a glancing blow. Minor geomagnetic storms and Arctic auroras are still possible, however, as Earth moves through the CME's magnetized wake.
