青森のソウルフード『イギリストースト』がついに本場の大使と出会った「コラボ商品いかが？」 - Togetter
50年以上 青森県民に愛されてきたソウルフードに「イギリストースト」がある。テレビで紹介されて以来、全国的に有名になった菓子パンだ。パンを製造する㈱工藤パンは永年パッケージとして使用してきたイギリス国旗に著作権が発生した場合 倒産するのではないかと、かつては真剣に心配したそうだ。以来、イギリス大使館内でもこの商品は話題に上っていたようで、同大使館職員が9月に同社を訪問した事がメディアで話題となった。余談ながら、日本人が食すパンは欧米人が食べるパンとは違い、とてもふんわりしている。ツアーにおいては「これはケーキだ」と言う声を良く耳にする。
