Mr. Tur Muhammet, the Japan Representative of the International Uyghur Human Rights and Democracy Foundation, told me what he had heard recently from a man who had been incarcerated and suffered atrocious torture in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The man was a Muslim leader who spent a total of 23 years in a Chinese prison for reading the Qur'an at home to his children ages seven to twelve.
The Chinese prison was literally a living hell. To destroy the man's faith, he was collared like a dog and hung from a ceiling in a water-filled chamber for an entire week. Then he was pulled out of the water and, while his skin was still soft, wrapped entirely in bandages only to have it ripped off again later. He was basically flayed alive and told, "God cannot save you because God does not exist."
How can a human being be so cruel to another? Why is there a nation that conducts acts of evil in public institutions? The answer is because, as we saw, it is a political regime that rejects religion and the belief in God. A nation like this has to use violence and purges, torture and concentration camps because it lacks a philosophy with which to guide and bring together its people.

I can't endure, because I also have a faith.
It doesn't Islam, but Christian and Muslim believe the same God originally, so do I - one of Happy Science member.
Thus, I can't endure such attempt through physical torture to make him throw out a faith.
If ISIL have a real faith, they should fight against Mainland China.
