本日は本当に久しぶりの編集人の戯言です。
ご存じのとおり、夢闘派は活動休止中で、たいした情報発信もなく、せいぜいBASEでの映像ダウンロード販売情報のみ。
にも関わらず、最近やたら夢闘派とかMUTOHAの文字が目につきます。
まあ、それは多分自分が意識してるからそう感じているだけなんだろうけど、それを差し引いても去年の今頃はそんなに夢闘派とか見かけなかったよなぁと。
やはり7月から流れが大きく変わったんだろうなぁと。
自分が思うに、転機はBASEと海外向けの映像ダウンロード販売だと思っています。
最初は本当に海外の人からのリクエストでどうにかして夢闘派の映像を海外に届けられないか?ホントそれだけ。
あーでもないこーでもないと試行錯誤しながら、何とか手探りで1試合ずつ(これもダウンロードの特性上やむなく)の販売を開始。
これが海外のファンの目に止まって、徐々に売れ始めました。
そして11月に新井健一郎対GENTAROの試合が売れて、それまでの借金がイッキになくなり、少しだけど蓄えもできました。
とある海外のファンがこんな事を言ってくれました。
「夢闘派の大会が早く再開するために、私はあなた達の映像を買います」
BASEのほうでも
「令和って凄いな。こんなマニアックな試合をダウンロード販売しているのは知らなかった」
たかが330円、でもその330円が積み重なって、それが夢闘派の活動資金になっています。
本当に感謝です。
だからこそ!!
夢闘派の再開にはもう少し時間が必要です。
正直に言ってしまえば、やろうと思えば今すぐにでも大会を開催できます。
でも、中途半端な大会を提供するのは、会場に足を運ぶファン、DVDを購入するファン、そして何よりウチみたいな弱小プロモーションを応援してくれるファンに対して失礼というもの。
やる以上は徹底的にやる。
少なくとも2023.2.5を超える大会でないとやる意味はないと思います。
最後に・・・
一応、自分は夢闘派から一歩距離を置いた存在ですが、夢闘派再開の為に全力サポートを宣言します。
つきましては、昨年末に一度終了した海外向け映像ダウンロード販売を春頃から再開する方向で、今吉野代表と調整しています。
基本は前回同様ですが、詳細等が決まりましたらまたご報告させていただきます。

We need more time to reopen the MUTOHA.
To be honest, we could hold a tournament right now if we wanted to.
But to offer a half-hearted tournament would be disrespectful to the fans who come to the venue, the fans who buy DVDs, and above all, the fans who support a weak promotion like ours.
If we are going to do it, we will do it thoroughly.
I don't think there is any point in doing this unless it is at least a tournament that exceeds the 2023.2.5 event.

Although I am a step away from MUTOHA, I declare my full support for the reopening of the MUTOHA.
Therefore, I am working with Mr. Yoshino to resume the sale of video downloads to overseas customers in the spring, which was once terminated at the end of last year.
