25 July diary

31st

I worked on a TV program shoot today. The filling was delayed by up to an hour at most, but in the end, it finished only about 15 minutes behind schedule.

30th

I left home in the early morning for a full-day shift. On the way to Shibuya, I was surprised to hear that a tsunami warning had been issued. I took a short nap on the way back to the office. At the office, I completed some desk tasks and checked the condition of some Rhodes piano in preparation for tomorrow’s job. I also joined in an on line meeting for a job in september. Finally, I went back to Shibuya, but the schedule was significantly delayed.

29th

When I woke up, my son had already left for his day trip to Osaka. 

I went to the office and spent the entire day completing various desk tasks. 

28th

This morning, my son complained that I didn’t allow him to go on a day trip to Osaka today.  We talked it through and eventually reached a conclusion. After that, we went to Nakanoshima Station to buy Shinkansen tickets.

In the afternoon, I went to the office. As soon as I arrived, I spoke with sound team about some issues related to the job at Osaka Expo in September. Then, I headed to Shibuya to set up for a rehearsal.

27th

I unexpectedly had a day off. I was still tired from the family trip. I made lunch and dinner, and I also went to get a haircut. 

26th

This morning, I went to the spa before breakfast. My family and I visited a bakery, but there were only a few kinds of bread left since many had already been sold. My children and I visited a museum inside the hotel and an observation deck. 

After checking out of the hotel, we headed to Nobeyama by local train. However, I changed my mind on the way to the station, so I returned to the station where I had boarded and switched to a car insted. In the end, driving to Nobeyama turned out to be a good decision. My family and I joined again the station. 

Then we visited Takigawa farm, where we had soft-serve ice cream, and my children enjoyed feeding the caws. Afterwards, my son wanted to take the koumi Line back to Kobuchizwa, so we split up:he left from Nobeyama Staion, while the rest of us headed to Kobuchizawa by car, stopping at an amazing gallery along the way. 

For lunch, we had soba and tenpura-It was delicious. My daughter impressed by the gallery. We all met again at Kobuchizawa Station. where my wife and daughter picked out some souvenirs.

25th

Today, my family went on a summer trip. For breakfast, we had beef bowls at Yoshinoya. Then we visited MoeginomuraMy daughter and I went to the Orgel Museum which was more interesting than I expected. For lunch, we had curry rice at Rock, a famous reataurant in MoeginomuraAfter lunch, we visit Milk pot in Kiyosato. Afterwards, we bought food for our meals at Himawari Market. 

24th

I attended a meeting for a semi-regular job in Hongo. After that, I returned to the office. Finally, I went to Roppongi to retrieve some equipment. The schedule was delayed, and the loading entrance in a difficult condition.

23th

This morning, I went to a studio in Tamachi to join the start of a rehearsal and check on some issues, since I had assigned the work to Kinoshita because I won't be able to paticipate on the day of the show. After that, I returned to the office. I stopped by a Chinese restaurant for lunch and had a beef fried rice set meal. It was good. Finally, I went to Shibuya to load in and retrieve equipment. 

22nd

I went to the office. I wrapped up taking care of the musicians from last weekend's work at Expo and completed several desk tasks. I decided to go on a family trip this weekend, so I started preparing for it. Afterwards, I went to Ariake to load out equipment. I ran into Sugar and his manager, Arai, and we told about his solo concert that took place in Shibuya a few weeks ago.  

21st
I woke up at 7 o’clock and decided to go to the office early. For breakfast, I had Shin-Osaka soba—my favorite Osaka-style breakfast—at Naniwa Soba, located inside the local line area of Shin-Osaka Station. After arriving at the office, I completed some tasks and finished earlier than planned, so I went home ahead of schedule. I took a short nap in the evening.

20th
I woke up at 5 o’clock and felt well-rested. I took the subway to the Expo 2025 site. I started setting up equipment before 7 a.m., so it was finished before 8. After that, I decided to leave the venue for a bit to check out some Expo pavilions and take photos. Work was busy, but I found a little time to visit the large pedestrian circle and take some more pictures. The show went smoothly. After everything was done, Yumeshima Station was extremely crowded due to the Expo's closing time.

19th-When I woke up, I noticed over slept. First, I researched departure time so I didn’t it  last night. I realized that as soon as left home then I could catch up the train so I left home soon and could on the reserved Shinkansen. I met Sugiyama in Shin-Osaka Station. We used taxi to rehearsal studio. For dinner, I took some conveni-foods in a hotel’s room. 

19th
When I woke up, I realized I had overslept. I hadn’t checked the departure time the night before, so I looked it up first. I realized I could still make it in time, so I rushed out and managed to catch the reserved Shinkansen. I met Sugiyama at Shin-Osaka Station, and we took a taxi to the rehearsal studio. For dinner, I ate some convenience store food in my hotel room.

18th

I went to vote in advance before the official voting day. After that, I went to the office and worked on some tasks. Then I went to a juinor high school near the office to bring a small percussion instrument.

17th

For breakfast, I had the hotel's spicy curry-It was really good. After that, I went to a pedestrian bridge near the hotel. The show went smoothly with almost no troubles. On the way back to the office, I dropped Kinoshita off at Mizonokuchi Station. 

16th

I went to Koen street in Shibuya to deliver equipment. Then I returned to the office and headed to Kimitsu with Kinoshita to set up a trave-themed TV music show. Some trouble occurred durling the setup, but I managed to resolve it. After work, We had dinner at an  izakaya. The hotel we stayed at gave me slightly strange feeling. Kinoshita told me it used to be a love hotel, so the bathroom had some amaging gimmicky lighting effects and a jacuzzi. 

15th

An early typhoon brought unexpected wether, so I took the Nanbu line to the office. I spent most of the day preparing for upcoming work. In the evening, I went to Shibuya to dismantle the weekly regular program setup. 

14th

I felt sleep-deprived when I woke up. 

When I arrived at the office, the truck from yeasterday's other job had already arrived. 

I unloaded the equipment and then spent almost the whole day preparing for tomorrow's work.  

13th

I went to Yonago on a one-day business trip. It was probably my first visit Yonago in over twenty years. However, I spent the whole time working at the live house, so we didn't have any time to look around the area. 

Our return flight to Tokyo was delayed by about an hour and a half, so we had some drink in the airport lobby. 

When we arrived at Haneda Airport, the last train had already finished, so I took a taxi to our office with some our team member. Then I caught another taxi to go home.  

12th

Today, I was scheduled for a half-day shift in the afternoon, but I thought I would have a lot of work to do, so I decided to change it to a full-day shift. I made progress on several tasks for the September project. For lunch, I had large-sized cup of yakisoba for the first time in about ten years. It wasn't bad while I was eating it, but afterward, I felt a little sick.

11th

I took the Nanbu Line to the office because the weather forecast said there was a chances of rain. I spent the eintire day handling desk work for September projects.

10th

I drove a truck around Tokyo today. 

For lunch, I had iekei ramen in Komazawa. It was the first time in sevveral years that I'd had that kind of ramen.

9th

I didn’t drink any alcohol, but I stayed up late last night, so I felt sleep-deprived when I woke up. 

I had an early appointment at the dental clinic and finished my treatment there. 

After that, I went shopping in Shimokitazawa.

I had lunch at Mintei, my favorit old-fashioned Chinese restaurant. I chose the fried rice, which was marvelous. 

Then I bought some clothes, books, and other items.

For dinner, I'm going to make fried chiken and poteto with garlic. 

8th

I worked a full-day shift today. I went to Shibuya to setup for the weekly program. After that, I delivered some accessories to a venue in Hatsudai. Then I returned to the office and handled a lot of desk works until evening. Later, I went back to Shibuya and Hatsudai for retrieve the equipment and returned to the office again. I didn't have dinner tonight.  

7th

I went to the office. I packed some equipment to be shipped to the Osaka branch and finished some desk work. I also checked the sound of some guitar stompboxes, which were clones of the Centaur models.

6th

I took the day off and spent the whole day at home. I went to the nearby grocery store twice. After lunch, I took a nap and felt refleshed. For dinner, I'm going to make grilled green peppers stuffed with meat.   

5th

I participated in a cencert by a singer and actor. It was an emotional and wonderful performance. I returned to the office with Kobayashi. and after finishing today's work, we  walked to the station together. When we arrived, we ran into the Katayama couple. I didn't realize the woman with katayama was his wife, I might have spoken to her in a indifferent way.

4th

I went to a studio in Gakugeidai. Today, I decided to walk there from the station. As I expected, it was too hot and I ended up sweating. I attended the rehearsal setup and checked on a few matters. After that, I headed to the office. 

For lunch, I chose a Chinese restaurant that had several good reviews. I ordered a yakisoba set, and the portion was quite large for me. Somehow, I managed to finish it all. After lunch, I completed some tasks at the office.

3rd

I had breakfast at Sukiya on Orion street. On the way back to the hotel, I stopped by a shrine. SInce the venue didn't have wifi, I went to a connected building and completed some desk tasks there.

2nd

I didn’t have any alcohol last night, so I woke up early and got some tasks done before breakfast. I headed to Utsunomiya with Sano for a travel style music TV show. For lunch, We had soup gyoza at a gyoza shop near the venue-It was even better than I expected. The setup went smoothly. After work. Sano and I went out for drinks at a good yakitori place.

1st

This morning, I had slept in a bit. I completed some tasks. For lunch, I had beef tongue curry that I had been curious about, but it wasn't as good as I expected. I went to the office, then headed to Daiba to pick up congas. After that, I finished preparing for tomorrow. Finally, I went to Shibuya to pack up the regular TV broadcast setup. I didn't have any alcohol  tonight.
