上弦の月に 降り続いた雨が明けた、
今朝の背振山・・・
黄金の光と・・・
虹のシャワーに・・・

８月 ３１日宴の途中で、
日本にいるマサシの友達が、
スカイプで連絡してくれていたり、
お開きになった後も、
ステラ＆翔子ちゃんと、
あんな話や こんな話をしていて・・・
メモリアルビデオを作ってくれたステラは、
大学で 初めてマサシを見かけたとき、
いつも たくさんの人に囲まれて、
楽しそうにしていることから、
強く印象づけられたらしく・・・
親しくなってからは、
一緒に写真を撮りに行ったり、
映画のプロジェクトを手掛けたり・・・
Masashi was one of the first friends I made at UBC. I'm so lucky I got to know him for 5 years.
He always helped me with my film projects.
I will miss him,
but I know that he gave me so much knowledge & made me a better person.....
To me, Masashi will always be my good friend, & he will continue to be his smiling 25 years old self forever.
I'll think of him, But I will also be inspired by him.

＞ この記事をアップした後に わかったこととして
４年前のマトリックス受講で
シアトル入りしたとき、
オフの日にマサシと遊んでいた後で、
ステラ達と合流していた。
カメラを構えて笑っている写真を撮ったのが彼女で、
あの日の翌日だった・・・。

The day that was went was sometime in May of 2012. I think it was his second time going to Seattle,
as he showed us the city. We went with Loulou and Leo.
We spent two nights there in a rented apartment. It was very fun and my first time there!
We cooked food and took lots of photos together.
マジッククラスを受講した直後で、
マサシがあちこち案内してくれて、
シーフードを 山ほど食べたり、
マーメイドの女神の場所では、
あるマジックが起こったり、
ジーザスやボブマーリー、ガネーシャに
ツタンカーメンまで 登場していて、
マジック盛りだくさんな 一日だった。
このサインを見つけたのも マサシ。

＞ ちょうどこの日、
同じ絵柄のカンペンを 部屋の中で見つけて、
私が買ってきたものを、
高校の時に使っていたのを思い出しながら、
中を開けてみると、
その頃のマサシが大切にしていた思い出が
いっぱい詰まっていて・・・・
そのまま 持ち帰っていた。
そう、あの日の空にも出ていた
ソーラーレインボーと、
時空を超えたマジックが、
ここに 繋がっていたことがわかったのです。

私にも会いたいと思っていたらしくて、
あの時のニアミスから ４年後に
こうして・・・
I miss Masashi and i think of him a lot. i know that others too miss him a lot.
Loulou certainly misses both Masashi and Ryo and she was best friends with them both.
We talk about Masashi and Ryo together and support each other.
When I think of Masashi I sometimes get a little sad but I laugh thinking about the fun things we did.
Masashi and i wanted to do a project together after summer. For now, I am a bit busy but in the future I still wanna do the project...
Masashi and i liked food and we felt Vancouver had a strong food culture so we wanted to do a small show for YouTube on restaurants and food in Vancouver.
I felt Masashi would be the perfect host as he is so good on camera and is easy to talk to and talk about many things.
I miss him but I am so happy
I could meet you and many others.
Sometimes the experience is like a planted garden and
everyday the gardens grows into something beautiful.
At first it seems so bare,
and a bit sad but now there are beautiful flowers and such.
そう 私だけでなく、
マサシの友達・知人同士も
今回のことで 新たな繋がりが生まれていて、
翔子ちゃんも ここで出会ったステラと、
しばらく住むことになって、
以前からプランしていた 旅へ。
みゆきさん
こちらの方こそ、ありがとうございました。
帰国後もお仕事で大変かと思いますが
無理のないようにお休みしてくださいね。
まさしは一番尊敬する人は母ちゃんだ、
といっていました。
みんなから慕われる彼の生き方や思想は
みゆきさんから受け継いだものなのだと思います。
滞在中はいろいろなお話が聞けて、本当によかったです。
また、お会いしたときはみゆきさんがみたもの、
体験したものたくさんお話ききたいです。・・・・
マサシの話に出ていた ヴィーガンプリンを、
買ってくれていて・・・
和テイストもあって、
私好みの たまらないおいしさ。

The world will never be the same,
because of the beautiful difference one life has made.
I was fortunate enough to meet Masashi in my 2nd year at UBC.
He was sitting in front of me in physics class and we somehow ended up talking.......
I knew there and then that
I had made a friend with a great soul.
I'll remember Masashi as the most selfless and
positive person I had met.
Even after getting his bicycle stolen multiple times,
he had a smile on his face with an
" Oh well, things happen ! "
I hope to take on his positivity and
his forward mindset that radiated happiness.
いつも一人きりでいた僕を あたたかく迎え入れてくれ、
数え切れないほどの思い出を
まさしさんから受け取りました。
親友だと思えたと同時に、一人の人間として
まさしさんのようになりたいと 思ってもいました。
まさしさんは、本当に世界を照らす太陽だったと、
強く強く思います。
ありがとうございました。
Masashi was kind, thoughtful and respectful person.
He helped me through tough time and
I am very thankful to meet him.
He was the kindest person on Earth !
Remembering his shining big smile and kind, gentle soul.
Masashi will forever remain in my heart.
