milestone

It was the first time my last baby fell asleep without me being by her side.

Peaceful bliss.....




My mind takes me to a world where no children force me to put them to bed every night.

And I can now imagine that that world is just there around the corner, waiting for me!


Twelve years and a half, since my first baby was born.


twelve years.


for twelve years I have not been able to sleep when I wanted to sleep.

for twelve years I have been forced to sleep next to or beneath children.


And now, I experienced for the first time in twelve years,
the night that all my babies fell asleep without me having to put any of them to sleep.



I feel the ending of a very hard period for me, beginning to end.
