The efforts to form a coalition government is being pursued in Greece. Although the austerity measures are focused upon the discussions among the Greek parties, the most essential is to formulate a reliable and viable path to the Greek economic growth.
The Helios Solar Project is included in the EU agreement reached in last October. Under the project, Greece plans to install as much as 10 GW solar panels to boost the economy and produce employment. The generated electricity is to be sold to the northern European countries.
Greek economic crisis is the cause of concerns over the European economy and adversely affects the world economy. The European economic downturn decreases Chinese exports to the region. Greek debt crisis may lead to concerns over national bonds of other nations including Japan.
Greece should advance the Helios Solar Project to revive her economy with support of EU, China, and Japan. The cooperation should be pursued not only on the governmental levels but on the business levels as well.
If the plan is successful, Greece will not only overcome her economic crisis but present a model of the economic growth based upon renewable energies.
