I have been in Berlin, Germany since February 2nd for the purpose of working and exchanging information with my German counterparts to promote renewable energies worldwide.
Germany is the most advanced nation in terms of renewable energies. Feed-in tariff was invented in Germany. In 2011, as many as 7.5 GW of PVs were installed in Germany. 20 % of the nation's electricity comes from renewable energies. The governments, businesses, and the population are working together to promote renewable energies.
I am planning to have meetings with governmental officials, policy leaders, and NPO members.

2月2日から、ボランティアで行なっている再生可能エネルギー普及の仕事の関係で、ドイツのベルリンに来ています。
ドイツは、世界でもっとも進んだ、環境先進国です。固定価格買取制度が生まれたのもドイツです。昨年ドイツでは、7.5ギガワットもの太陽電池が設置され、自然エネルギーによる電力の割合は20%を超えました。まさに政府・企業・国民が一体となって、再生可能エネルギーの普及を進めています。
再生可能エネルギーの分野で活躍されている政府関係者の方々や政策的指導者の方々、NPOの方々にお話を伺う予定にしています。
