OK, I've bought myself an Auto Discovery (due to knee probs, the clutch on the 90 was killing me!) it already has a 2" lift on (springs) and big tyres etc, I've just replaced all the knackered rubber bushes on the arms etc. but have noticed that both front & rear anti-roll bars have been removed completely. Is this correct?Part of me says it is as they would now be the wrong length, but another part of me says, that's why it corners like a jelly.Do I leave them off? or do I refit them?
Ok, nive is now stripped, off to get soda blasted,Nike Air Max 2014 Womens, and primed tomorrow.* 1.7i motor fully rebuilt almost ready to go in.* dual fuel tanks ready to go...* 2 inch lift ready to bolt on...* LSD to be installed...* Roll cage to be installed... Ok, this isn't so much a VS thread, as just a bit of a question from a potential buyer.I used to own a completely stock jeep cherokee 4L, and regularly took her offroading wherever i could. With no mods, no lift and standard tyres she used to do better than most other offroaders I came across. the only problem being the long wheel base.Onroad the cherokee was very thirsty, but powerful as hell, and handled like an average car.Now its a few years down the line, and i'm after another offroader.I've been looking at short wheel base pajeros/shoguns as my 4x4 of choice,Nike Air Max 2014 Red Black, owing to offroad ability, onroad perormance size and cost etc.question is, how will the shogun compare to my experience in the cherokee if it is totally stock.though i would like to get some good offroad tyres on,Australia Nike Air Max 2014 Womens Black Green Orange, and a bit of a lift, I just want to know if the shogun will be as good as the cherokee when it is completely stock.Calum.Last edited by calum1981 on Mon Sep 07, 2009 11:00 am; edited 1 time in total
OKWifey has persuaded me to think about what we are doing this summer. This is the plan.Italy - head north to the jousting festival in SulmonaSan Marino coz we can (and its yet anohter European country to tick off)Verona for the OperaBolzano to see Oti - the frozen prehistoric bloke.I'm pretty OK in Italy but now it gets difficult...Pull up to Austria, Salzburg and then down to Graz.South to Llubjiana in Slovenia. And south again to Zagreb, Croatia.Banjaluka (maybe Sarajevo/Mostar as well) in Bosnia.Cut back west to Split & Dubrovnik back in Croatia before catching the ferry home to Bari.Any thoughts on places to stay or additions to the itinerary gratefully received. We'll be camping (4 up in the 90 and with the long serving much abused trailer). We are planning on 3 weeks.Anyone who suggests a place we end up in wins a fridge magnet (or similar). Many thanks in advance.__________________________________The ex-Difflock Ambassador to Naples, Sir Night
