前回来た時は、メジャーデビューアルバムとなった
「Kindred Spirits」のレコーディングで来ていたのですが、
今回は、世界規模の映画スコアを歌うオファーを受け
海外から初めてレコーディングのお仕事に呼んで頂きました。
海外のプロデューサーと歌う仕事がしたいと思ってから
気がつけば、何年の月日が経ったでしょう。。。
LAに到着し、空港に降り立った瞬間、
感慨深い想いが心を巡りました。
LAにはこの時期、
紫色のジャカランダが咲き誇っています。
その美しい紫色の花を見ながら
日本の桜を重ねあわせ
今、こうしてアメリカで仕事ができるのも
日本でいつも支え、守ってくれるスタッフの皆がいるから。。。
同時に深い感謝が込み上げました。
レコーディングまでの日に
時差を治すため
体調管理に尽くしたいと思います！
今回は、10日間のため、ホテルではなく、
一軒家を借りて頂いての滞在。
それも、ホテルよりも何倍も安く、
キッチンもついているので
自炊もできて健康的！
今日は、
そのお部屋をご紹介しますね。
場所は、ベニス。
おしゃれなショップやレストランが立ち並び
日本で言う、青山辺りの雰囲気です。
LAのホテルはだいたい30,000円～40,000円台なのですが、
このお部屋、、、一泊なんと18,000円(^^)

Hello, this is Maiko !
I arrived at L.A.!
Last time I came here for the recording of "Kindred Spirits", my first major album, and this time I came here for the recording of a worldwide movie for the first time.
How long does it take since I swear that I would like to work with a foreign producer...
I had a deep emotion at the moment when I arrived at the airport.
There are full of purple jacarandas in L.A. now.
I was moved that I could work in U.S.A now thanks to my staffs watching this beautiful purple flowers.
I would like to try to keep good form for the recording fixing my jet lag!
This time, I am going to stay for 10days so not in a hotel but in a condominium.
It is cheaper than the hotel and also it is healthy because of the kitchen !
I would like to introduce you my room.
It is in Venice.
There are many nice shops and restaurants so it is like Aoyama in Japan.
Generally a hotel's room costs ¥30000~¥40000 per day but this room costs only ¥18000 per day !!
