私の職業の一つは作家で、日野クリスは筆名です。その由来を説明します
私は、長崎県佐世保市で生まれ育ちました。私が育った地域は、日野地方と呼ばれ、すぐ近くに日野峠というバス停がありました。その育った地方名の日野を姓とし、私の先祖が遥か昔に倭寇海賊でキリシタンだったらしく（現在は淨土眞宗在家信者です）、クリスチャンのクリスを名としました
Why "Chris Hino" as My Pen Name?
One of my passions is writing, and Chris Hino is the pen name I use. I'd like to explain how I chose it.
I was born and raised in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture. The specific area where I grew up was called the Hino region, and there was even a local bus stop named Hino Toge. So, I took "Hino," the name of my childhood home, as my pen name's family name.
"Chris" comes from "Christian," reflecting my ancestors' history as Christian pirates centuries ago. (Today, I am a believer in the Jōdo Shinshū sect of Buddhism.)
