Every Friday at 5pm is a HappyHour called a reflection meeting.
Interns are here, and the popular choice on the West Coast is to work for 2-3 years at a consulting firm or a big tech, and then go out on start-up.  Consulting seems to be the option for many.

Anyhow, currencies and stocks are moving much and I'm confused.
I need to get my head straight.

First, is the exchange rate. Will the BOJ's ¥5 trillion intervention reverse the trend? Or will it be a repeat of the last intervention? You need to decide whether to remain long or take profits.

➡long as the U.S. is a little dove for high-interest rates and will not intervene.

Dollar/Yen 6-month trend

Dollar index blue, dollar-yen orange

The yen is speeding off, but the dollar index continues to rise steadily.

Dow red, S&P orange, NASDAQ blue, Energy ETF green.

Stocks soared on the gift of tightening interest rate doves.
Take the ride or ignore it, If so, which one?

Considering the inflation in the corner and the reaction by many countries to the sharp rise of US rates, there is a possibility of easing off the pedal.
➡Begin to accumulate equity positions little by little.
➡Replace longs in Dow futures with Vanguard Energy ETFs.
