I wondered what was the matter with her and considered several different diagnoses while approaching to the clerk desk. The very moment when I was going to say "Hello, I'm a doctor," the clerk asked me "小磯様ですか？Haven't you lost your credit card?"
Oh, no!! He was looking for "Koisosama " instead of "Oishasama "!!
I mumbled that I was wrong... " I'm not Koiso. Excuse me."
I quickly escaped from the desk.
I was realized that a credit card with the name Koiso was found in the lobby and the clerk was trying to find the orner of the card. Therefore he was calling "小磯様はいらっしゃいませんか？”
It was so embarrassing that my face burned with shame there. In Japanese expression I wanted to enter if there were a hole.
At least the one saving grace was my husband said to me "Good job. You did right."
