こんにちは!

 

今日はすごく危なかった、びっくりした、少し恥ずかしいお話。

 

クリニックが珍しく混んでいて、やっとトイレに行けたときの話。

考え事をしながら、トイレのふたを開け、ズボンをぬいで座って…ぎゃ!!まだ下着ぬがずにすわっちゃった。

そこで気が付いて、良かった~。危なかった~。そうでなかったら、大惨事になるところだった~。

こんなこと初めて。年、ですかね。気をつけなきゃね。

みなさまも気をつけて!!

 

さて、話は変わって、

しもふなかコンパスの新しいパンフレットを作ろうと思います。

 

今はやりのフレイル予防のお話です。

 

Mitigating Frailty and Enriching your life with exciting activities!

 

[What is frailty?]

    The word frailty is used described decreasing mental, physical and social ability associated with aging.

    If elderly people ignore their frailty and don't take steps to mitigate it, their condition will deteriorate  day by day.

However, exercising , joining social activities and getting proper nutrition, everyone can maintain and improve their mental, physical and social abilities to a surprising degree.

 

Physical failty:  Muscle volume reduction, Weight loss, Malnuturition, Oral problems

Mental  frailty:  Mild cognitive impairment, Depressive mood, Apathy

Social frailty:  Feelings of isolation, Loss of activity(shut-in), Poverty

 

[Getting older and older]

 These three components are closely connected with each other, and , as we get older, they strongly influence each other. Therefore, it is very important to improve all aspects at the same time to maintain a good balance.
