患者さんは外套を着込んでいますので、
血圧を測るときは脱ぐのが大変です。

Prologue
I wrote this book to thank and encourage all caregivers, including family members, home healthcare nurses and home healthcare workers as well.
Hopefully, experienced home healthcare specialists will smile at the familiar stories. Patient family members and beginning home healthcare specialists can find hints to help them going forward.
It is my sincere desire that - young or old- we can begin thinking together about how we care for the elderly.
Everyone gets old.
Everyone gets sick.
As we age, our eyes become weak, our hearing becomes poor, our legs become feeble and we might even lose our teeth.
Most people eventually need some degree of support. This is absolutely natural, and I hope our society can accept the fact as it is. In addition, I hope the elderly people who do need help can fully enjoy their lives and will never feel they are a burden on the younger generation.
