During this opportunity, I knew the effectiveness of MDMA for PTSD patients.
I am concerned about what is the best way to treat PTSD parients. The more I think about the problems, the more difficult it becomes, I'm confused.
I don't think it is good to use hallucinogens easily and instantly. Because trauma is part of the patient's history and nobody can erase it. The past is past. If people can accept the fact that the past is past, it will make them grow as a person. If they are still alive, no matter how hard the experience, there can be no bad experience. No matter how severe the experience, it can be useful in some way someday.
To use hallucingens too quickly may rob them of their precious chance to increase their humanity. May it cause mental dependence, not physical dependence which may cause withdrawal syndrome?
