Parents and children in Japan today are not getting along better than you can imagine.
They go beyond fighting to not talking to each other and remain separated.
Isn't this the real root of the nonmarriage and declining birthrate?

Why does this happen?
The biggest culprit is the explosion of information.
There is a mountain of information about human beings.

Before the advent of television and radio, the only information available was the gossip of villagers or books.
Now, information from all over the world comes pouring in like garbage on the Internet.

After the war, American home dramas began to be broadcast daily.
The smiling, joke-telling dad gives his family a perfect score.
It is not surprising that the stubborn and taciturn Japanese fathers are beginning to look like idiots.

A decade ago, coupled with Confucianism, any parent could sit on the throne of master.
Now, Japanese parents are compared and evaluated with parents around the world.
It is easy to see how trivial one's own parents are.

In the modern age, getting lots of information became the goal of education.
Today, we are inundated with information, and do we really need to take in any more information?
Isn't not knowing what we don't know the best way to be happy?

In the U.S., there are people who dare to cut off all contact with the world and live peacefully.
They are called Amish.
They live a self-sufficient life by farming and ranching. They have no electricity.

They live in horse-drawn carriages and have no television. Of course, they cannot eat McDonald's.
Even in horse-drawn carriages, children are usually not allowed to ride.
The community is based on a large family system, and each community is tied together by a relationship of mutual support.

When a new house is built, relatives and neighbors get together to work on it.
Clothing is extremely modest, and adults wear only certain colors.
From the perspective of people living in the city, this is a complete anachronism.

But there are no human deserts full of feuding parents and children or single people.
In a society of mass consumption, only those who provide the convenience will become very rich, and the many other working people who continue to pay for the convenience will become destitute.

Don't we need any more "information"?
Information" does not make people happy.
You don't have to get "information" and connect with the world!
