英科学：クローン、動物権利、オープンアクセス

先週の目についた科学ニュース。

日曜日の夜に下宿先に帰ってきたため、サイコム・ニュースに間に合わなかった。。。

クローンのニュースは、一面になったり、ガーディアン紙ではComment&Analysisで議論されていたり、とメディアではかなり大きく扱われている。

ニューキャッスルには、何度かブログでも触れたことのあるPEALSという生命科学の倫理面や政策面を重視した研究センターがあるのだが（NanoJury UKにも関わることになっている）、そこで働く人たち（社会学や哲学をバックグランドとする人たちもいる）の気持ちはどうなものなのかなぁと思う。推進派でもなく、反対派でもなく・・・想像するだけで難しい役回りだと思う。
