There’s always diversity of happenings in nyc... especially it’s a paradise for yogis from out side of the u.s... I enjoyed dharma talk on ‘The art of Meditation’ at Kadampa meditation center...then honored to be invited to the movie 🎥 premiere of ‘Mantra: sounds into silence’ co-directed by Wari Om at rubins museum...it was such amazing movie you all should go watch! ...then had light meal at one of favorite eatery, ‘The city bakery’...then went to concert of ‘City of the Sun’, the band with two amazing guitarists and a percussionist from UES. Finished a day with porridge dinner in china town...😋 . . 色んな文化が共存するニューヨークでは1日の間他では出来ない色んな経験ができます。昨日の雪は嘘かのように、春日和だった今日は、瞑想スタジオでとても身になるお話を聞けました。その後はお友達のワリさんが映像監督を務めたマントラを主題にした映画「mantra」の試写会があって、たまたまこっちに来ていたワリさんのご両親と一緒に見に行きました。内容も構成も映像も素晴らしい映画ですよ！小腹が空いたので近くのcity bakeryで軽く食べて、友達が大ファンのニューヨーク出身のミュージシャン「city of the sun」のコンサートに行来ました。ボーカルはおらず、ギター2名とパーカッション1人の3人組バンドで、友人の予想ではいつかグラミー賞取れるそう!上手で感じのいいお兄さんたち、頑張って👍 夜はチャイナタウンで空芯菜、ワンタンスープ、お粥で一日を締めくくりました！盛りだくさんな一日でした😌
