何でも一生懸命に取り組むと、
お金がかかりますね。
ラジコンなら移動費、走行料金、食事他。
そして愛車(RC)に使うお金。
RWDドリフトは
他のカテゴリーと比較すると、
ジャイロを使うこともあってか、
最初に揃える時の出費は多いように感じます。
スピードを競わないので、
ボディやホイールにお金をかけたり、
オプションパーツを付けてみたり。
ついつい色んなモノを
買ってしまいます。
私はまず、キットと同時に
マグネットタイプの
ボディマウントを買いました。
と言うわけで、
キットのお値段以上に、
周辺機器やパーツに
お金を使ったわけですが、
消耗品が少ないことと
車が壊れにくいのが嬉しいですね。
自分のマシンを1年間使っての破損品は、
摩耗で使えなくなった
ステアリングタイロッドの
プラパーツを1個交換したのと、
デスクから落下させて壊した
リヤショックタワーを修理
したくらい。
壊れにくいのは、
ユーザーの立場としては、きっと、
めっちゃありがたい。
メーカーの立場からすると、ちょっと辛いと思いますが...

When you put your all into anything, it costs money.
Transportation, mileage, food, etc.
And money for your RC car.
Compared to other categories, RWD drift requires a little of initial expenses, since you need a gyro.
Since we're not competing for speed, we can spend money on the body and wheels, lights and add optional parts.
I first bought a magnet-type body mount at the same time as the RC car kit.
So, I spent more on peripherals and parts than the price of the car kit, but the appeal is that there are few consumables and the car is hard to break.
The only damage I've seen in a year of use was replacing one plastic part on the steering tie rod that had become unusable due to wear, and repairing the rear shock tower that broke when it was dropped from a tabel.
As a user, I'm very grateful that it's hard to break.
I think it's a bit tough from the manufacturer's point of view, but...
