同志少女よ敵を撃て」「をComrade Girl, Shoot the Frits と訳してXに投稿したけど、読了後、敵はFritsだけではないな。と思ったので、Comrade Girl, Shoot the Foeに変える。
長い話だったけど、非常に引き込まれた。
もし１mmでも構成や表現が違っていたら、私は読むことができなかったと思う。
残酷な世界の中に没入し、自分の目の前、すぐ近くで起こっていることのような感覚で読んでしまった。NHK大河ドラマの「鎌倉殿の１３人」で恐怖からパニック症状が出てしまいそうだった単純な私でもドンドン読み進めることができた。恐怖感でなく展開への好奇心が勝った素晴らしい小説だってことだ。
今、現実に戦っている人たちがいる。なぜ人は同じ過ちを繰り返すのか。
I initially translated 「同志少女よ、敵を撃て」 as "Comrade Girl, Shoot the Frits" and posted it on X. However, after finishing the book, I realized that the enemy isn't just the Frits. Therefore, I decided to change the title to "Comrade Girl, Shoot the Foe."
It was a long story, but I was thoroughly engrossed. If the structure or expression had been even slightly different, I don't think I would have been able to read it. I felt completely immersed in the brutal world, as if what was happening was right before my eyes. Even someone as sensitive as I am, who nearly panicked from the fear while watching NHK's Taiga drama "The 13 Lords of the Shogun," found myself eagerly turning the pages. The novel's curiosity about the unfolding events overcame any sense of fear. It is a truly remarkable book.
Right now, there are people who are actually fighting in the real world. Why do humans continue to repeat the same mistakes?
