アメリカのプロデューサーRACのアルバム
「STRANGER」より「Cheap Sunglasses」

RACとは
Remix Artist Collectiveの略で
もともとインディー系バンドのリミックスを手がけていくことより
始動したプロジェクトである。

とにかくアルバムの出来が良い！
中毒性の高いポップで踊れる曲がたくさん！
ブロックパーティーのケリーや
以前このブログで紹介したトーキョーポリスクラブ、
Tegan and Saraなどの有名で実力派のアーティストが参加しており
とても豪華な作品となっている。

そんなアルバムの最後の曲が
今回紹介するmatthew komaがフューチャリングした
「Cheap Sunglasses」
わかりやすいリフの繰り返しと踊れるリズムの構築が
ポップミュージックの要なんだとつくづく感じさせられる。笑
何にしたって切れの良いフックが求められるなあ。
マシューさん声良いですね。
コード進行も少し憂いが含まれていて胸キュン要素アリ。

難しく考えずに最高な音楽に体委ねて踊ればいいってことです。笑

彼らはまさに
"YOUNG DREAM"って名前にふさわしい音楽を鳴らしている。
ジャケット通りだけど
本当にビーチの似合うバンドだと思う。
