I found a very delicious cake.
グランドセントラルステーションの地下一階にある
マグノリアというケーキやさんのバナナクリームパイだ。
It is Banana Cream Pie sold at a cake shop, Magnoria
that is on the basement 1 at the Grand Central Station.
アメリカは、昔はおいしいケーキがあまりなかった。
We did not have many delicious cakes here in the USA.
でも、このごろは美味しケーキがでてきた。
But good ones have come out recently.
ニューヨークに来たら、是非、このバナナクリームパイ
を食べてみてね。

日の出を見ていたら、昔、見損ねた現象を思い出したよ。
When I watched the sun rising, I recalled a very rare phenomenon
that I missed a long time ago.
グリーンフラッシュって知っているかな？
Do you know Green Frash?
太陽が水平線に沈むときに一瞬だけ放つ緑の光のことだよ。
It is a green flash that the sun sends at the moment of setting on
the horizon.
昔、熱帯の島に行って、友人と船に乗っていたとき、彼はそれを
見たんだ。
When I went to a tropical island and was on board a boat with
my friend, he saw the green flash.
でも、ぼくは、違う方向を見ていたから、見損ねた。
But I was looking in a different direction and missed the chance to
watch it.
一生に一回、見れるかどうかの貴重な瞬間だったのに。。。。
That may be truly once in a lifetime chance...
また、熱帯の島に行きたくなったよ。
I want to go to the tropical island again.
