T=36の850hPaの等温線や風向を見ると、寒冷前線が顕著に確認できる。
From the reflection on the analysis of April 23rd:
Based on the density of the isotherms at 500hPa, it was speculated that the upper atmosphere was slightly cooler. As a result, this may have affected the feeling of coldness in the Kanto region this morning on April 24th, which was almost in line with the initial speculation. Across the country, there was a slight tendency for the temperature to drop.
Analysis for April 24th:
Rain is expected to start falling in the Kyushu region from around the morning of April 25th. A low-pressure system will move eastward, and rain will occur nationwide on April 26th. There appear to be two low-pressure systems on the surface weather map, indicated by two "L" symbols. Many positive vorticity values are present at 500hPa, but positive vorticity corresponding to the northern "L" can be clearly confirmed. Looking at the 850hPa isotherms and wind direction at T=36, the cold front can be prominently identified. The low-pressure system moving eastward is also expected to be accompanied by a cold front. That's about all noteworthy.
