Sapporo Art Park:
This is a great winter event for people looking for something easy and fun and not difficult at all.
We will walk around in the snow on Japanese bamboo snowshoes called Kanjiki and go visit all the wonderful modern art works and sculptures that are scattered through out this amazing 40 hectare park.
Once we have finished our walk we will find a nice place outside to cook up our delicious cheese fondue lunch and a hot drink.
こちらは、何か簡単で楽しいものをお探しの方向けの冬の素晴らしいイベントです。
かんじきを履いて公園の中を歩き回り、40ヘクタール程の公園の中に配置されている現代アートの作品を見て回ります。その後は、適した場所を見つけて外でチーズフォンデュと温かい飲み物の昼食を取ります。

SNOWSHOES & BOOTS
The Sapporo Art park will supply the Kanjiki ( bamboo snowshoes ) for free and can lend boots for walking in the snow if you don’t have.
札幌芸術の森で、かんじきを借ります。
ない場合は長靴も借りることが出来ます。



NOTE:
YOU CAN NOT BRING YOUR OWN SNOWSHOES.
The park rule is you are only allowed to use their bamboo snowshoes.
注意！！ご自分のスノーシューは使用できません。
規則で芸術の森で借りられるかんじきのみ使用可能です

Non member Y1,500 pp

What to bring.
Suitable clothes to walking around outside in snow and cold temperatures.
Woolen hat and Warm Gloves.
Extra warm clothes to put on while having lunch.
Very warm thick woolen socks
Suitable footwear to walk in snow ( Sapporo Art Park can lend )
Foam mat to sit on while having lunch.
Bowl or plate
Cup
Chopsticks
持ち物：
雪の降る低い気温の外を歩き回るのに適した服装。
毛糸の帽子、暖かい手袋。
昼食を食べている間に着る予備の暖かい服。
分厚い毛糸の靴下
雪の中を歩くのに適した靴(芸術の森で長靴を借りることもできます。)

Meeting time and place:
Leon will meet everyone at Makomanai subway station which is on and is the last stop on the Nanboku subway line ( green line ) at the main entrance of the subway station at 10:15 am
From there we will catch the bus to the Sapporo Art Park
待ち合わせ場所と時間：
地下鉄南北線真駒内駅の地下鉄改札出口に10時15分にリオンが皆さんをお待ちしています。
そからバスに乗って札幌芸術の森に行きます。

Own car:
People are most welcome to take their own car. Please be there and waiting at the "Art center" building by 10.50 am
There is a car park . Parking fee is Y500
車で行く場合:
お車で行きたい方は、アートセンターの建物前に10時50分に集合してください。
駐車場もあります。駐車場代は500円です。

3 Day BC Ski Trek: Over the Teine Mountain Range

This 3 day trek took us from one side of the Teine mountain range and up and long the top and over and down the other side staying in two great but different mountain huts.
There are no marked trails or routes so finding your way to these huts is totally up to ypu and how good you are with a map and compass.

First Hut:
Took us 4 hours in deep snow to
get to this hut on the 1st day.













2nd hut:
It took us 8 hours to get to this hut
on our 2nd day.
