7月23日(水)(日本時間)に妥結したとされるアメリカ合衆国(United States of America)との相互関税について、1日(金)13時01分(日本時間)に発動されることとなっていました。
(日本との時差は14時間ですが、夏時間の為に13時間となります。)
また、我が国の自動車(完成車)に掛かる関税も本日から発動されるとのことですが、最近になり、この関税の発動が遅れる見込みとの報道も有ります。
(相互関税にしろ追加関税にしろ、妥結文書等は無いとの政府声明に不安を覚えます。)

なお、我が国の政府関係者は、当初7月8日(火)の相互関税税率通知よりも低い関税率で妥結したことに関税交渉が成功したかの様な表情を見せていましたが、その後のEU(European Union)や大韓民国なども関税税率が引き下げられ我が国と同率となっていることや、そもそも自動車に於いては一方的に15%の税率に6倍も引き上げられていることなどからこの関税交渉は失敗しているのではないでしょうか。
因みに、7月31日(木)(現地時間)にアメリカ合衆国(United States of America)のドナルド・トランプ大統領(Donald John Trump)が、この相互関税の発動を8月7日(木)(現地時間)から発動する大統領令の署名したとの報道も有り、それまでは高関税税率が適用されるとの報道も有ります。
(そうなりますと、やはりこの相互関税は失敗したと言うことになります。)

Japan will invest, at my direction, $550 Billion Dollars into the United States, which will receive 90% of the Profits.
