わたしは、若いお母さんが席をはずしたおりに、斜め前の赤ん坊に話しかける。赤ん坊は大人になり、バーにいる。 何が飲みたいかをきくと、「にがビール」と応える。
どうやら、株の話をしているらしい。

track = 馬場。

spittle = 泡。
form = 垂れ下がる。ここで、こういう意訳は、なかなかできない。
