Just as I was about to settle down
to sleep, the whole thing started all
over again, coming now from the
opposite direction. Now I was really
quite frightened. I wanted to call for
someone, but there was no telephone
in the room, and besides, just that
night I had forgotten to inquire the
room numbers of my family.
