But at the end of this evening we
were perfectly exhausted. After a whole
concert tour nowadays we are not so
“out”as we were in Easton, Pennsyl-
vania, on that memorable October day,
But you get that excited only once.
Slowly it becomes a routine, the bowing
and smiling, coming and going.

しかし私たちは、その夜の部の終わり頃に
はくたくたに疲れ切っていました．今では、
全コンサートの日程が終了したあとも、たい
して疲れたりはしません．あの忘れられぬ10
月のペンシルヴェニアのイーストンでの公演
での疲れ様に比べれば．あんなに興奮したの
はあれ一度きりでした．徐々に、挨拶会釈も
舞台の登場退場も慣れてマンネリ化になるの
です．
